I love autumn!! I'll be the first one to admit, I've never been a sun bunny. I was not the girl blessed with the naturally sun-kissed blonde hair and the tan body that would be seen on the sunny sands of Malibu Beach soaking in the rays. I was the fair redhead that would get a painfull sunburn just thinking about venturing out in the sun for (gasp!) 30 minutes!

But now, fall is here (thank heaven for small miracles!). I love the crisp autumn air, the smell of rain, and (of course!) the September issue of Vogue!! (Every diva's fashion bible!!)

And, as a colorist, I am so excited to see the return of rich chestnuts, and auburn hues to sun faded hair. Is there room for blondes, you ask? Absolutely!! A little bit of toning and lowlights, and your bleached out tresses will look shiny and vibrant!( You'll still look like that sun bunny... just without that harsh brassiness!)

If you are flirting with a new look, I would love to show you all the posibilities you can do! For example, are you happy with your color, but minus a few grays? A deposit only color leaves your hair a richer color with tons of shine...minus the grey! Want more? Since it is a deposit only color, the color gradually fades away...i.e. no obvious line of demarcation... no commitment on your part! If you are not sure if you want to delve into the world of color, or if you just want to look that much better for a big event, this is the way to go!

Another idea: want a few highlights but can't afford (or simply can't find the time!) to get a touch up every 6 to 8 weeks? Ask for peek-a-boo highlights, that gives you permission to have fun with your hair, but only have it touched up, maybe, three times a year! Doable? Absolutely!
